Loves Furniture is looking for a driven and passionate email marketing professional to raise the bar and join our Marketing department as Senior Retention Marketing Manager. You're the right person for this role if you're a hard-working self-starter with strong project management skills and can thrive in an environment that requires technical knowledge and attention to detail.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Marketing team, Store and E-Commerce teams to develop and evolve the overall B2C email marketing strategy to drive revenue and ensure alignment with Love's business objectives, goals, and priorities
  • Email campaign production: creation, planning, scheduling, executing, testing and optimization of B2C campaigns.
  • Build customer segments and customer journeys
  • Design and build customer lifecycle marketing campaigns using marketing automation and other techniques
  • Target subscribers with relevant content to ensure a positive experience for users engaging with Loves products (personalization).
  • Delivery of email campaigns with a focus on detailed technical execution involving approvals and reviewing campaigns for quality assurance prior to deployment.
  • Optimize the email program through continual testing of creative, subject lines, copy, timing, offers, targeting, and more.
  • Coordinate work activities with internal and external partners in order to launch campaigns in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Run daily/weekly/monthly reporting on all of your email marketing activities.
  • Find opportunities to improve the effectiveness of email B2C marketing programs.
  • Identify initiatives to grow the email subscriber base.
  • Identify and procure the resources necessary to fulfill the strategies that you develop.
  • Stay current with customer relationship marketing trends and incorporate, as appropriate, to improve the customer experience, drive sales, and leverage ongoing customer involvement.
  • Partner with creative teams on content curation, design and landing page development.
  • Support adhoc requests from the PR/Communications team to broadcast strategic communications

Knowledge, Skills & Ability:

  • Hands-on experience developing and customizing campaigns using ESPs.
  • Experience developing Marketing Automation and triggered email campaigns
  • Extensive email deployment experience and understanding of QA processes.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS coding for email, and familiarity with responsive design.
  • Knowledge of email standard methodologies and deliverability.
  • Superior project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide strategic recommendations motivated by data.
  • Excellent teammate with the ability to bring creative ideas to the organization.
  • Excellent verbal, social, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, innovate, and flourish in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude, ability to work with a team to drive projects to completion, and penchant for solving problems.
  • Experience with project management tools.
  • Preferable to have experience with Push Notification and SMS marketing (non-essential).

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • 6+ years experience in B2C email marketing, preferably in an online direct to consumer E-Commerce business.
