BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for all marketing and technical aspects of Kubota's consumer facing web and social media presence. This individual will effectively lead a team of internal and external designers, developers and copywriters to manage and execute all website and social media strategy. This will include being responsible for posting written material, photographs, and developing graphic and video content to support the Kubota brand and information on products and services shown on the company web site and social channels. The Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with agencies, other sales and marketing managers and directors to drive the innovation, development, marketing, and execution of digital initiatives that assist the business in achieving its core strategic goals. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for driving the overall growth of our company's website and social presence, position and engagement.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:
  • Works with Product Managers, Coordinators, Directors, Agencies, Kubota IT and Kubota Security to expand and improve content found on KubotaUSA.com and Kubota social channels while ensuring it is consistent with the overall brand identity.
  • Monitor trends and new technological advancements in social media and web design to ensure KubotaUSA.com provides industry leading design/functionality and the brand’s social presence, following and engagement continue to grow.
  • Collaborates with agencies, Kubota Marketing team members, Sales and Marketing Managers and Directors to create and develop all web, social or other digital consumer facing marketing content including, but not limited to, social media accounts, websites/pages and Build My Kubota.
  • Assist KCC and KTAC as needed with web site content management, promotional websites/urls, etc. Recommend and facilitate the repurposing of consumer tools (such as Build My Kubota) to support other business functions.
  • Manage Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  • Review, route, and approve all marketing assets, content and copy for social and web purposes.
  • Communicates all IT related Marketing enhancements to the Project Management Office prior to making any system changes.
  • Responsible for defining, monitoring and reporting all social media metrics and web traffic usage on KubotaUSA.com resulting from SEO, SEM and other marketing activities. Trends in traffic patterns should be explored and further analyzed. All analytics should be provided to senior management on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. All learnings should be provided to Sales and Marketing Managers to continually enhance on-site performance related to digital marketing activities.
  • Responsible for updates and enforcement of the dealer internet policy. Website Manager will collaborate with Kubota legal, dealer development and division offices to communicate expectations as outlined in the policy, approve changes to the policy and ensure authorized dealer compliance with the policy.
  • Manage and train all internal and external web and social support staff. Manage all web and social support vendors to ensure top quality services and support are provided while controlling costs, and meeting implementation deadlines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND TRAINING:
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other related field. Master’s Degree a plus.
  • 7-10 years of marketing manager or digital/web/social manager experience.
  • Google Adword Certification and experience with Sitefinity CMS a plus.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND:
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey marketing needs and requirements to a technical team.
  • Experience managing vendors and support personnel.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong leadership, management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage priorities.

Office equipment including computer, copier, fax, phone, printer.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Typical office environment. The position will require walking, standing and sitting at a computer.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Requires 20% travel.
