Yacht StarShip, Pirate Water Taxi and the Lost Pearl are hiring a data-driven, paid search and social media leader to manage our online presence. This position’s main role will be marketing focused including search engine optimization, social media management, content creation and other duties as needed. We are looking for someone to manage, optimize and own the performance of paid marketing campaigns across SEM, Display, Social and other channels. This position will report to the Director of Marketing but will work closely across all departments. Do you have what it takes to bring our online presence to the next level?
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Social Media
- Manage social media budget and paid ads across all brands
- Create a social media strategy for all brands
- Post original, engaging content (paid and organic)
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Monitor social media accounts and interact with followers across all platforms
- Grow our social media following across all platforms
- SEO
- Develop a SEO strategy across all brands
- Implement and manage SEO best practices across all sites
- Benchmark KPI’s
- Google AdWords & PPC
- Craft compelling ad copy to maximize CTR
- Create, categorize, and refine keyword lists to create a comprehensive campaign that drives qualified visitors to website(s)
- Devise and implement effective A/B tests to optimize conversion rates
- Website
- Manage website updates and edits across all brands using WordPress
- Increase traffic and conversions
- Content Creation
- Experience shooting and creating videos and photos
- Drone experience a plus, willing to learn also considered
- Ability to develop external and internal content
- Outgoing personality with ability to tell a story and conduct interviews
- Assist the Director of Marketing in other projects as needed.
Hours: 40-50 hours per week, typically Monday – Friday with willingness to cruise after hours and attend special event cruises to develop content and take photos/video as needed.

Qualifications:
- Previous digital marketing experience required
- Proven ability to manage paid campaigns across platforms
- Result oriented with past campaign metrics
- Experience working in various CMS platforms and ability to make website changes and updates
- Must be organized, outgoing self-motivated, energetic and a dependable team player
- Excellent communication skills and general computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) including ability to create reports showing campaign results
- Ability to operate camera equipment including a drone a plus
- Prior experience in the hospitality/tourism/attractions industry a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business preferred
