The Digital Media Director provides thought leadership and oversees the planning and execution of digital campaigns across Search, Display, Social, Mobile, Email, and Video channels via working with a team of Product Directors and Managers. The Digital Media Director owns planning for large or new/complex campaigns and is responsible for communicating strategic insights and updates to both the Digital and Accounts teams. The Digital Media Director will work to build strong relationships with the Digital team, Accounts team, and agency partners and will improve upon current lines of communication. The Digital Media Director will plan and facilitate the Digital team’s training and development. The Digital Media Director will be responsible for the team’s results and deliverables and will assist in roadmapping product developments. This position reports directly to the VP, Digital Strategy & Operations.

  • Define product and client strategies
  • Direct and manage the daily work flow of all digital campaigns
  • Restructure Digital Team as needed with addition of new clients
  • Review client deliverables for quality (develop and maintain quality control procedures)
  • Understand and effectively communicate digital value proposition, technology, and processes
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members
  • Assist in the development and documentation of best practices for improving communication and collaboration within the team and the agency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, media, or related major
  • 10+ years of digital planning and campaign management
  • Automotive experience
  • Experience directly managing and supervising a team
  • Demonstrated presentation and writing skills
