Role Summary

The Head of Growth Marketing for Small Business Payments is an exciting, newly created role. The position will be responsible for driving new-to-bank client acquisitions and leads for our payments line of business through digital performance marketing tactics. Chase is seeking a talented, highly analytical marketing leader with proven success in growth marketing to drive increased market share in the small business space. This is a senior role with tremendous opportunity to deliver programs with clear return on marketing investment and business impact.

The candidate will lead a team of channel and performance marketers whose objective is to build, continually optimize and expand our digital marketing program through paid and owned channels. The candidate will establish overall program strategy, drive channel marketing tactics, manage program review and optimization cadence, drive testing plans and prioritization, and socialize program strategy and performance with senior stakeholders. The candidate will also be responsible for driving program reporting and analytics, improving source data integrity, and developing targeting methods and models to increase program efficacy. The ideal candidate must have proven success in building direct and digital performance marketing strategies, driving ROI-based programs, and leading and developing a growth oriented team. The role requires close collaboration with senior- and executive-level stakeholders across Sales and Banking as well as with central marketing and digital. The candidate must have an intellectual curiosity to stay ahead of trends in digital marketing, an analytical focus to drive results, a collaborative approach to work across functional teams, a desire to employ innovative and modern marketing techniques including Machine Learning and AI, and an ability to drive a highly productive team through clear strategic plans, management discipline and agile program execution and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategy and drive delivery of end to end client growth programs including new client acquisitions, lead generation and lead nurturing.
  • Drive program reporting and analytics, program and testing business cases, and budgeting and forecasting working with finance and analytics to manage optimal return on marketing investments.
  • Drive development and enhancement of modeling for audience targeting and increased program performance working with data science and analytics.
  • Socialize program strategy and performance with senior stakeholders to provide transparency of investment return and facilitate business cases for program expansion.
  • Set team objectives, key results, and priorities in close collaboration with business partners and drive results through management oversight and reviews.
  • Lead a team of channel and performance marketers responsible for developing and executing marketing programs.
  • Foster a team culture of client focus, risk/control issue escalation, team diversity and inclusion, talent development and coaching, and clear and transparent communication.


Required Experience

  • 10+ years of marketing experience driving ROI-based growth marketing programs.
  • Deep knowledge of direct and digital marketing strategies and channel tactics.
  • Highly skilled in driving and prioritizing analytics and reporting initiatives.
  • Significant experience in developing and executing complex programs and navigating a matrix organization.
  • Exceptional strategic and analytical thinking and creative problem solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills as well as abilities to build collaborative relationships with business stakeholders and to partner effectively with marketing partners.
  • Proven effectiveness in presenting and influencing at the executive level.
  • Understanding of the payments industry landscape and market dynamics is a plus but not required.
  • Experience building and leading effective teams and passion for identifying and developing talent
  • Bachelor degree required, Master's degree preferred
