We are seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager to join the CMR team. The ideal candidate for this job is someone who considers themselves a “builder.” Truth be told: while we don’t have (and don’t want) a reputation for being the loudest, flashiest agency in town, we are one of the fastest-growing. So, what’s the lay of the land? Over the last two years, we’ve seen our digital department grow by over 1000% and our desire is to keep up that pace well into the future! The Social Media Marketing Manager will be responsible for continuing this growth and, if successful, will eventually have the opportunity become part of our company’s leadership team. As such, the ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, with a desire for building a team they call their own.

Over the last few months, we’ve invested significant resources aligning our digital/social media capabilities with key tenants of behavioral change science. The ideal candidate will therefore be someone who can help us discover innovative ways to leverage social media’s conversational nature to impact/drive positive behavior change. 

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Manage CMR’s digital team, including providing direct oversight and mentorship to junior staff and interns.
  • Collaborate with CMR’s research and strategy team to develop social media strategy, including influencer marketing and cross-channel integration.
  • Establish proven community management social media processes.
  • Set up and manage paid social media campaigns on behalf of clients.
  • Coordinate with CMR’s account services and creative teams to oversee creative asset development for use on various social channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.
  • Develop/write content for paid and organic social media campaigns.
  • Monitor and lead response management efforts for client social media channels.
  • Engage in social listening and monitoring to understand emerging issues/trends among audiences.
  • Use audience data and campaign analytics to optimize digital/social media campaigns and investments.
  • Oversee CMR’s online reputation and drive engagement on the company’s owned channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and GlassDoor.
  • Collaborate with CMR’s business development team to develop and implement social media marketing campaigns with the aim of cultivating new client leads.
  • Spearhead the expansion and hiring of CMR’s digital media team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • 2-4 years of social media management experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the leading social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience managing paid social media lead generation campaigns
  • Entrepreneurial, “builder” mentality
  • Self-confidence in your ability to lead and build the social media team
