Staff VP Digital Marketing Strategy

Location: Indianapolis, IN or Minneapolis, MN

Responsible for leading the digital marketing strategy in order to accelerate the enterprise marketing organization. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for leading the digital marketing strategy to advance a digital-forward, data driven approach to audience engagement with emphasis on driving profitable growth.
  • Establishes an internal Digital Marketing consultancy responsible for raising the digital acumen of the org and creating results for prioritized efforts.
  • Develops a training curriculum to help elevate thinking across the org. Serves as the go-to digital marketing lead and SME for the enterprise. Utilizes expertise to ensure the organization maximizes its investment in Marketing and Advertising Technology (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, LiveRamp).
  • Conducts stakeholder interviews in order to develop and deliver on key strategic priorities. Develops and champions an omnichannel vision of end-user engagement across the organization to develop support and represent the organization in external conferences.
  • Creates relationships with leaders to effectively execute cross-channel / cross-funnel consumer strategies (owned sites, other digital and traditional channels, call centers, etc.).
  • Partners with analytics leaders on evolving measurement and reporting to provide a holistic view of performance and optimization, advancing the value of digital attribution to sales.
  • Contributes to business cases to secure additional funding and resources for new initiatives.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Qualifications

Requires a BA/BS in a related field; 8 years of experience including 7 years of digital marketing experience with a demonstrated expertise working as an internal consultant; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA preferred. Experience with a wide range of digital marketing disciplines (e.g. SEO, SEM, Email, Social, A/B Testing, Personalization) is required. Proven ability to lead, influence, communicate and interact with people at all levels across the organization required. Digital Marketing strategy experience within healthcare vertical preferred.
